Access doors: a short product range guide

The range of access doors offered by Vents enables us to meet a wide range of customer demands in terms of installation, design, and functionality. These products provide quick and convenient access to concealed engineering units and utilities, while maintaining the aesthetics of the room and not affecting the overall design. Access doors can be divided into several groups depending on the material, type of opening, closing mechanism, shape, installation method, color, size, and functionality. The choice of the appropriate option is informed by the operating conditions, the type of room it is to be installed in, and access and safety requirements.

Material

Depending on the required properties, the product can be made of high-quality plastic, steel, or aluminum.

Plastic doors are the most economical solution, combining a lightweight structure, attractive appearance, and a smooth surface. Thanks to their moisture resistance and lack of corrosion, they are ideal for bathrooms, showers, cooking areas, and other humid spaces.
Steel doors are characterized by high strength and durability. A polymer coating protects them from corrosion and minor damage. Steel is an excellent choice for technical and commercial spaces with high loads.
Aluminum doors have a lightweight yet rigid structure. Thanks to their corrosion resistance and good properties, they are reliable even in humid conditions. Compared to steel models, aluminum doors are almost twice as light, which greatly simplifies installation, especially in suspended or ceiling systems.

Size

Access doors are available in a wide range of standard sizes from 100x100 mm up to 600x800 mm. Custom sizes are also available upon request.

Colors

The doors are available in a wide variety of colors: from classic white to grey, black, metallic, and other shades. Some series are available in matte or glossy designs. The range also includes models that can be painted or tiled to match the walls or ceiling.

Installation

For interiors with existing coverings, there are models for painting or wallpapering, for installation in drywall, and for ceramic tiles. Adjustable magnetic fasteners allow you to adjust the depth to the thickness of the tile.

For painting or wallpapering, door models with a smooth surface suitable for finishing are available. Such doors can be painted to match the color of the wall or completely covered with wallpaper, making them virtually unnoticeable.

For drywall, there are special models with a corresponding frame that can be easily mounted in partition walls or suspended ceilings. They ensure a tight fit to the surface and minimum visibility of the joints.

For ceramic tiles, doors with adjustable magnetic fasteners are available, allowing for precise adjustment of the installation depth to the thickness of the tile. This ensures an even surface with no gaps or bumps and preserves the integrity of the cladding.

Most door models can be installed in any orientation required for convenient access. Two-door swing hatches, which open simultaneously and provide greater access to utilities, constitute a separate category. Models with vents are available for rooms where air circulation is important.
